my thought:

now i will try so very hard not to put spoilers in. but i am pretty sure there are parts where my emotions will hint at certain things. so maybe if you haven’t read EoS yet you shouldn’t. idk. up to you.

OMG! this book

this book

this book

i can’t even deal with this book.

The ending. if you haven’t read it i  won’t spoil it. but like that ending.

the book got better as it went on. The first few chapters were a bit slow and i wanted to get it moving on to more interesting things. Which it did get to very soon. Back to *a place i won’t spoil* with the gang. Well not Chaol.

Now chaol is not in this book so prepare yourself if you haven’t already read it. I didn’t mind Chaol not being in this book. I know everyone misses him but if he was in it there would be less parts on Celaena. Chaol will be getting a novella so don’t stress. Sarah has said it will be based on his healing adventures, my hope is that Towers from the prequel will be the one to do it. (wouldn’t that just be so amazing)

Celaena and Rowan’s ship is sailing very well at the moment, and chapter 38. if you do not wish to read anything inappropriate skip this chapter. If you don’t mind go ahead and read it. This book does have a few inappropriate scenes like chapter 38. But that is the main one and last a whole chapter. The rest are only a paragraph on i think three different occasions.

Lyssandra in this book, HOLY COW. she is so amazing!!! also they talk more about Dorian’s power in this book and say it is very powerful, maybe even more so than Celaena’s (which i don’t like because Celaena must have the biggest power).

This entire series is just me hating everyone who is better than celaena to be honest. And hating everyone who makes Celaena upset. So yeah, Dorian better keep his powers to himself and not be better than Celaena. (Yes i do realise i’m slightly evil)

Speaking of Dorians powers. Him and Manon. Jesus Christ. Dorian is… i have no words for what i read about those two. I just i just don’t know. That scene (if you have read it i think you know what scene i mean) but hummmmm i just i just don’t know what i think. I can’t… I can’t even imagine my baby dorian… no, it is not something i like to think about.

I like them together don’t get me wrong, but that scene. Dorian. My baby boy i did not expect that of you and i think i’m slightly grossed out. But i still wouldn’t really know where my emotions are at with that scene.

continuing on.

As well Celaena and the gang trying to build Celaena an army, the Fae’s of the past (and by that i mean Elena and the rest of them) have set Celaena the task of finding the lock. What is this lock you might ask. you will have to read to find out. Especially seeing i can explain it without confusing myself.

This book brings back old characters and towns and well as the memories of characters who have died and brought many tears. Read the prequel if you haven’t already, because everyone comes back basically.

I do believe i cried four times in this book. Twice in the end. And the other two times where spread out throughout the book. The ending was one crying moment. The other one at the end was just someone saying how much a character missed another character and love them, and it was just such a nice scene that made me cry.
