Chapters 43-46

Spoilers ahead for ACOTAR (the entire thing)

I’m not crying, You’re crying!

So the book is finished, and if you are like me (aka cries over every single emotion ever) you might be upset for reasons you do not know (I’m not crying as such, but close to it)

A lot of things went down.

For one, I DID NOT KNOW TAMLIN’S HEART WAS STONE. I have never ever realised that. NEVER. The past two times I’ve read the book, I thought he lived because it was part of the deal that he had to live. Clearly, I need to pay more attention.

Tamlin has also started to think about ways to get Feyre out of her deal with Rhysand, which I think good, considering he didn’t even try to kill Amarantha until he had all his powers back. Serious Tamlin, Rhysand even tried with the dagger. I get it, you were healing maybe (?) But as far as I’m thinking, you could have thrown the dagger yourself.

Onto Rhysand. That stumble at the end…

But Rhysand also proves himself big time. He was the one yelling Feyre’s name not Tamlin in the end. He was the one who tried to kill Amarantha even when he didn’t have all of his powers.

Plus this bargain thing. Feyre is able to see through Rhysand’s eyes sometimes, interesting…

Let’s step back a moment, remember the two shinny figures in the garden eons ago. I was thinking maybe they are Alis nephews again, only because at the end they are described a such. But they could be, because they were living far away. So I will still be looking out for that.

There isn’t really much more to say, Oh wait a second, there is AMARANTHA’S RING AND NECKLACE. Feyre says they could not find them. Where are they?????

I think that is it if you want to talk a bit more about this series send me a message on instagram (@_queenofthebooks_)

Chapters 40-42

Spoilers ahead for ACOTAR chapters 1-42

I don’t have much to say today. I can’t really get over the fact that Tamlin wasted his one opportunity with Feyre to make out with her. I MEAN COME ON TAMLIN, I’m quite sure you could have maybe tried to find a way out! Given Feyre some motivational speech. Rhysand it doing better at keeping Feyre’s hopes up then you are.

As for Rhysand, that scene where he kisses licks (?) Feyre’s tears away. Although, a little gross, it helped her get her mind off things, If he hadn’t come in she probably would have cried all night long.

Plus the next time he is in her room he admits some things! First, he does not like Amarantha. Second, he does not plan on doing anything to Feyre that Amarantha makes him do. And there is more, but I’m not focusing on that right now.

Okay so the part with the shadow girls, I am now on the look out for any character that laughs like a pig. Because the Attor was talking to someone who laughed like that, and I want to know who it is.

Third test is coming up, got to go read

Chapters 37-39

Spoilers ahead for ACOTAR chapters 1-39

Many things went down in these chapters, should I start with Rhysand? I’m going to start with Rhysand.

First, I completely forgot about how mean Rhysand was to Feyre with her arm! HE TWISTED THE BONE!! Painful much! I was practically screaming and it wasn’t even happening to me. I know he might have his reasons, but really? Really, Rhysand? You you not just have threatened Feyre with the fact she would die of disease again?

But I do also think it was kind of nice of him to even offer a deal and to invite/ force Feyre to the night time events. I mean, it might suck she is embarrassed, but at least he is ensuring she is getting good food and is a way that she doesn’t have to sit in her cell each night and run herself made about the riddles.

Onto Lucien, he gave Feyre is jacket/ the jacket he stole from the guard. That was rather nice of him. Plus he told Feyre he was going to look out for her, I am most certainly liking him more than I used to.

Tamlin, is still being annoying with the whole no talking, no emotion thing, but I suppose he has his reasons to.

Now, Amarantha makes a comment once she figures out Feyre’s name:

“An old name – from our early dialects”

I just have feelings Feyre is different and I cannot help but wonder if these are hints.

OH MY GOODNESS, the girls and I, in our @chapter.chat have made some discoveries. None of which I can share without spoiling things in ACOMAF… but if you want to know just message me on instagram (@_queenofthebooks_)

remember a while ago I said I think Lucien has more power than he is letting on? Because Feyre commented on the fact she thought Lucien had a lot of power considering Amarantha took it away. But then again, I guess Amarantha had given him back some of his abilities so she could convince Tamlin to be with her.

Speaking of Tamlin, is it possible he is mates with Amarantha and that is why she is trying so hard to have him as her lover? Maybe he isn’t accepting the mating bond and that is why Amarantha is being so pushy.

Lucien has again proven a good friend to Feyre, three times in these chapters actually. He refused to give Feyre’s name up, helped heal her broken nose and yelled out where the worm was. TAMLIN WHERE YOU AT? I do understand he is trying to play it off as he doesn’t love her so that Amarantha will possibly stop (?) do you really think that will work Tamlin? because I don’t, you could just tell Feyre where the worm is next time.

Okay, also, a couple of discussions back I said Feyre had a nightmare about a Lady with red fingernails, I’m thinking it’s Amarantha. Although nothing has been said on her fingernails, her hair is red and feyre continues to comment on how Amarantha suits red.

*Also to correct my statement yesterday, Feyre’s mum had typhus not typhoid. (the difference is one is flea-borne and the other is food-borne)*

Chapters 31-33

Spoilers ahead for ACOTAR chapters 1-33

Things are starting to get intense again! Finally Feyre realised her mistake and went racing back to the Spring Court, although it was sort of a bit late.

Nesta once again proved how much she loves Feyre. How did I miss this the first time I read this book? How did I miss this the second time I read this book?

OKAY OKAY OKAY Feyre’s dad is shady af. Feyre is about to leave the manor and why his her not so caring father? Elain has a horse ready, Nesta has an amazing speech, where is her dad??? I’m thinking of a new theory that he is in contact with someone not so good and letting them know that Feyre is about to go and do somethings.

Think about this for a moment:

  • Feyre’s dad lost his weath when trading overseas (Possibly with Hyeburn??)
  • Nesta says that her dad had the money and ships to find a cure for her mum but he didn’t (why? this is his wife)
  • He doesn’t have a name, that means something in SJM books
  • why would Feyre’s mother tell her to take care of the family and not their father
  • Feyre’s dad is the only one not there when she leaves for the Spring Court the second time, Nesta gives feyre a speech, Elain has the horse ready, and Feyre makes the point that her dad isn’t there

You read that and tell me there isn’t something up with Feyre’s dad.

also, something is up with their mum. I just know it in my bones.

  • She died of typhoid. But it is a contagious disease, why did no one else die of this disease?

I can’t think anymore, to many theories roaming around sorry, be back tomorrow

Chapters 28-30

Spoilers ahead for ACOTAR chapters 1-30

This is the first thing I have tabbed all book:

(about Nesta)

I’d forgotten how cunning her eyes were, how cold. She’d been made differently, from something harder and stronger than bone and blood. She was different from the humans around us as I had become

whaaaaaat? Nesta is different!!!

This is what I mean by I think Feyre is something not entirely human, and now I think the same as Nesta. But I think Nesta is more not human than Feyre (Am I making sense?)

From today’s chapters, I am liking Nesta than I used to, I understand now just how much she did/does love Feyre. I MEAN SHE WENT THROUGH THE FOREST AND TO THE WALL TO FIND HER, did she not? And I’m with Nesta on this one, I don’t like Feyre’s dad. I just, don’t like him.

As for Elain, I’m not over the moon excited about her character, never really have been. For me, she is sort of just there. But I’m glad she is getting to do what she loves – gardening.

FEYRE! could you not have just said I LOVE YOU back??? maybe then Tamlin would have let you stay! STAY WITH THE HIGH LORD! You know this was the Suriel’s only order, he is a fae that knows everything! You should have stayed with the High Lord!!!

Oh! also, I never noticed before that Feyre actually takes some money and goes and gives it to the poor. I just didn’t know this, I must have completely skipped these scenes. The first and second time I read this book, I wasn’t exactly into this second of the book (mostly because there were no fae).

But I love that Feyre did that. I’m liking her a bit more now to.

Until next time,

Chapters 25-27

Spoilers ahead for ACOTAR chapters 1-27

Feyre has been at the spring court for almost six months now! wow, times fly so fast when your living with Fae (and drinking their wine).

Is the wine Feyre had during the summer celebrations different to the one she normally has at dinner? I only just realised, she clearly doesn’t act the same way every night.

Rhysand is here!!! Wooooooh!!!!! I can finally start using his name.

I sort of kind of don’t actually know what happened in these three chapters, I went to work and now all the chapters have blended together again haha.

  • Summer celebration
  • Rhysand appearing
  • Tamlin and Feyre time
  • Feyre will soon leave
  • Amaratha is evil and may or may not be plotting with Rhysand to kill Feyre.

So my thoughts… No theory today (wow, I know, I just don’t remember what happened).

Oh, okay, so let’s all keep in our minds what the wine did to Feyre during the summer festivities, okay? you have that written down? She may have gotten a little gigglely and in a super happy dancing mood.

ummmmm, Rhysand shows up and is clearly superior to everyone. You may or may not remember, but the name Feyre gives that clearly wasn’t her own, that girl was mentioned earlier on in the book she may be mentioned later on to

I’m just going to skip over the Tamlin and Feyre stuff….

But Feyre is leaving the Spring court. LISTEN TO THE SURIEL BABY GIRL, STAY WITH THE HIGH LORD AND ALL WITH BE RIGHTED. Go and get your brand new coat, maybe even a dead chicken to, head out to the westwoods (finally got the beauty and the beast westwing reference), catch yourself a Suriel and tell Tam to listen to it. STAY WITH THE HIGH LORD FEYRE!!!

Sorry only a short one today

Until next time,
